April 2016![]() Ken had served as one of LRA’s Roding ward councillors at both the District and Town Councils, and as a Governor at Staples Road school, from 2004. He was Loughton Mayor (2009-10) and Epping Forest District Council Chairman (2011-12). Much of Ken’s work at the Councils took place behind the scenes. His most visible achievement - and one he was rightly very proud of - is the memorial garden on Roding Road. Ken tenaciously did all the fund-raising, the project management and a fair amount of the planting. Ken was always willing to put in extra time and effort to improve our town. He had a very co-operative working style with all his LRA and council colleagues. He was well-respected by all and will be much missed. |
